Information Regarding Ceremony Weekend

We will be gathered around the grandfather fire in a traditional ceremony, carried with harmonica, Icaros and Waira, guided by Taita Pedro Davila.

Taita Pedro Davila is a traditional indigenous doctor often referred to as a “shaman”. He comes from the Colombian Amazon of Putumayo and is of the Kamëntsá people. Taita Pedro has over 25 years of experience serving ayahuasca. He will preside over the ceremonies as we will sit with the sacred Yage/Ayahuasca, connecting with ourselves the Earth’s energy.

We will hold 1 nighttime ceremony and 2 daytime ceremonies with Taita Pedro. In addition to ayahuasca we may be serving sananaga and rapeh. During the weekend we will also offer sound healing, body work, breathwork & integration. Please feel free to bring any instruments if you wish to share.

Our ceremonies will take place on a small ranch in the desert of Lucerne Valley, California. We will hold our ceremonies outdoors in a large event tent.

Sleeping mats, a pillow and blankets will be provided, however please feel free to bring any additional items needed for your comfort. The temperature can drop down to the 60s at night so please bring a warm jacket. Sleeping bags are also highly recommended.

You may bring a tent for sleeping if you would rather camp than sleep in the common outdoor area. There is also an indoor area where you can also set up an air mattress or bring your sleeping bag to sleep. There is plenty of space in the camping area to set up a tent, car camp, or park an RV.

You are provided 5 vegan and vegetarian meals, breakfast & dinner (pre and post ceremony), snacks, water, fruits, ceremony mat and bedding, toilet paper/baby wipes, tissues, paper towels, bath towels, toiletries, a bin and bags for vomit, as well as other comfort items. Please feel free to bring anything else that you may need or want to feel comfortable.
