EXPERIENCE A SACRED SPIRITUAL CEREMONY
Our goal is to ensure that we are only accepting participants that are truly seeking healing through a spiritual experience. As we are unable to meet the demand of the amount of people who are interested in attending ceremonies, we need to reserve spaces only for those who are prepared to do the hard work that this process requires. If you are looking for just a psychedelic experience, you are in the wrong place. Our ceremonies are sacred and deeply spiritual.
The first step to take to attend one of our retreats is to complete the below Intake Form. The Intake Form must be completed before you will be considered as eligible to participate in our ceremonies.
We also will not be creating a schedule, we will conduct ceremonies and activities when we feel it is best for the group and when the energy feels right to our spiritual leaders. You need to be committed to staying the length of the weekend and going with the flow. If that sounds challenging then we are not a good fit for you.
While you are with us you will be provided with food, beverages, blankets, a ceremony/sleeping mat, pillow, bucket, paper towels, baby wipes, bath towels, toiletries, sleeping masks, ear plugs and other comfort items. Aside from ensuring that you are safe, we want you to know and feel that you are looked after and cared for.
We are a nonprofit church, not a wellness retreat or a for profit organization. All of the Hummingbird Church staff serve from their heart, and are in ceremony because this is our sacrament and we believe it has the power to change people's lives for the better. We are a multi-faith, multinational church whose goal is to create a safe space for all those attending our ceremonies and provide a supportive community after the ceremony weekend has ended.
Please note that we do not charge for our sacrament. All funds received go towards paying for the ceremony, administrative/software fees, insurance, legal fees, equipment, training our volunteers, paying integration coaches, and paying for the travel expenses and time of our shaman.
Each retreat will have between 40 - 45 participants and 15 - 25 staff members. Our public ceremonies are large group only.
Registration is now OPEN for our last 2 retreats of the year with Taita Pedro Davila, and our first 4 of 2023.

November 25th - 27th, 2022 - Angelus Oaks, California - $750, 2 ceremonies
December 9th - 11th, 2022 - Angelus Oaks, California - $750, 2 ceremonies
Retreats with open 2023 registration
January 27th - 29th - Cherry Valley, California - $875, 3 ceremonies
February 17th - 19th - Cherry Valley, California - $875, 3 ceremonies
February 24th - 26th - Angelus Oaks, California - $750, 2 ceremonies
March 24th - 26th - Angelus Oaks, California - $750, 2 ceremonies
You must complete the Intake Form to be considered for participation in ceremony. You will NOT be sent information on our ceremonies unless you have been deemed eligible to participate. You must complete a new Intake Form for each retreat weekend.
Once accepted, your spot will be reserved by making the $250.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. Final payment for the remaining balance is due two weeks before the retreat starts. If you have made final payment and unable to attend, we will transfer your amount paid, minus your deposit, to a future retreat. We will not issue a refund as we pay for the retreat well in advance of the actual date.
